ButtonsNY Records/Supervises ADR for ‘Wildling’ starring Liv Tyler & Bel Powley
Rich Macar supervised the ADr for the Film “Wildling”, organizing local and remote facilities in LA and London. All ADR was directed by Fritz Boehm, via source connect and ISDN connections. Rich also included loop group recordings in the ADR package for Maven Picture. Final delivery was to ARRI in Berlin, who handled the sound for this exciting film.
Wildling by Maven Pictures is directed by Fritz Böhm and stars Liv Tyler, Brad Dourif, and Bel Powley. Bel Powley who plays Anna, spends her entire childhood in an attic under the care of a mysterious man she only knows as ‘Daddy’. He makes her fear the outside by telling her of the Wildling, a creature with sharp teeth and claws who roams about eating children. The film is due out in 2017.
Tyler achieved international recognition as a result of her portrayal of Elf maiden Arwen Undómiel in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–2003). She has appeared in an eclectic range of films, including the 2004 comedy Jersey Girl, the indie film Lonesome Jim (2005), the drama Reign Over Me (2007) and big-budget studio films such as Armageddon (1998), the home invasion horror film The Strangers (2008) and The Incredible Hulk (2008).
James LeGros appeared as Rick in Gus Van Sant’s 1989 Drugstore Cowboy. One of his best-known roles was in Living in Oblivion. LeGros appeared on Showtime’s Sleeper Cell and on Law & Order. He was also a cast member on the television series Ally McBeal and guest-starred on Roseanne, Punky Brewster, The Outer Limits, and Friends.
In 2015, Powley portrayed Princess Margaret in the biographical comedy-drama A Royal Night Out alongside Emily Watson and Rupert Everett and played the lead role of Minnie Goetze in the comedy-drama The Diary of a Teenage Girl, alongside Kristen Wiig and Alexander Skarsgård, for which she received rave reviews.
